    magiging probinsya ng China ang Pinas

    ang dami ko nakikita chinaman sa mga trade fair

    sabi sakin ng isang chinaman supplier noong si Noynoy ang presidente -- when the hostile (to China) Phil. government is replaced with friendlier one there's gonna be a flood of china companies going to PH

    pati workers. It's happening already, everything from POGO agents to househelp, they prefer to bring in their own people. Dunno kung mas mura or they just want to get around the language barrier.

    also to keep their people employed even if it's sending them overseas

    employment = no unrest

    Communist party priority # 1 preservation of power

    greatest fear = social unrest, mass uprising

    keep their companies running, keep their people employed

    export infrastructure-building capability

    Africa, central asia silk road 2.0 etc

    Labor cost sa China mahal, if you hire a local househelp sa china, monthly salary I think is around 4000 renminbi, that's equal to around 30000pesos na sa atin so it's impossible that they'll bring in their own people as househelp.

    iirc, during P-noy's time me nahuli na silang Chinese working at a mining site..not so sure what happened to those guys. Nagtaka din ako why it would be feasible to bring in workers here, but here they are.

    Not feasible to bring in workers here unless those workers that they brought here are those unemployed one na kng saan-saang probinsiya or bundok nilang kinuha and gave them lower wages.

    Isabelle duterte made the pages of the respected Singaporean broad sheet straits times & new York based news publication quartz magazine for all the wrong reasons.

    Even those entities were harping on the fact that the dutertes ran a campaign platform based on their supposed simplicity and austerity, a far cry from the ostentatious their kids are apparently living and displaying in full hd

    I always felt that the ones who try to project being simple and austere end up being the ones with the more lavish practices. It differs from those who just simply live simply.
