Anong drama ni digong ngayon na nag-PI pa sa mga pulis? Papahuli daw at ipakulong. Di ba sinunod lang utos nya na bigyan ng baril?

Looks like an attempt to cool down rising public anger kumbaga to prevent s*#t from hitting the fan.

Drug resistant ampch. IMO, this administration may do better by introduction of legislation and laws aimed at laying down the foundation for a long term "drug war"; one one that balances rehabilitation, police powers, and proper assessment of what exactly causes the demand. Unfortunately, this is not what they have in mind it seems.

Cory admin restored financial standing of the republic which was in the brink of collapse when marcos was ousted in 1986

I agree. Someone who knew the finances during the Cory Aquino administration told me exactly the same. For our bankrupt country to move, debt had to be honored so the additional credit could come ahead to help rebuild.

Netizens were quick to point out that the article Uson used in her tweet was published in 2016.

the political situation in the Phils. is more or less the same with the political situation in the US

In the US, rural conservatives would rather put up with Trump than see urban elites/Clinton liberals in power

rural conservatives simply hate urban liberal elites (coz mayabang mga elitista, feeling superior)

here in the Phils. a large number of people simply hate the sosyal, konyotic elitists that they would rather put up with Duterte as president than see elistists back in power

understand this and you'll understand our political situation

So interesting to see the socmed defense eat itself up.

    Drug courier yan!

    - Not on drug lists.

    New info! May informant!

    - Duterte admits the information could be wrong.

    Nanlaban!

    - Witnesses and CCTV show otherwise...

    Doubtful yung CCTV na yun!

    - Barangay tanod confirms CCTV.... now the police admit it's real.

Hindeh. Addict talaga! Nag-refuse ng autopsy yung pamilya!

    - Family asks for SECOND autopsy by PAO. Challenges police to drug test.

BAKIT HINDI KAYO ENRAGED SA PAGPATAY KAY xxx!?!

    - Mocha shares case from 2016. Bakit di nalang pumunta sina Leni daw doon. Boba.

    - Others are sharing a case from 2014. Twenty fricking fourteen.

    -----

Some of the opposition figures I follow on FB are asking where all their trolls have gone. I think Duterte's admission that the police might have done wrong has thrown them for a loop. Regroup. Re-strategize. Sige... troll pa more at a later date.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

In poor neighborhoods whenever residents are asked what they're concerned about

most of the time they'd say "sana mawala ang mga adik at pusher"

and this is the only admin that's doing something about it

    hence the popular support

it seems the masses are willing to accept collateral damage as long as their neighborhoods are rid of what they call "salot"

Really? When I talk to the poor, ang concern nila is "sana makabangon kami sa kahirapan, sana makapagtapos ng pagaaral mga anak ko, sana may maasahan kaming trabaho".

The drug rhetoric only gained traction when Duterte drew media attention to it. Similar to how the SUA cases only spike when there's media coverage, then somehow all the Montero's get fixed the moment the hype dies down.

    Parang SUSTENTO ata hanap nila.

Pag gusto may paraan at maraming paraan.

Peace!
