You're wrong. Wharton offers undergrad and postgrad curriculums.

I know they have an undergrad at Wharton. I said akala ko may Wharton MBA si Mar.

Wharton is known more for its MBA than its undergrad degrees. It's a perception thing.

Do the read the linked article if you haven't yet. May point yung writer

People making their own conclusion and assumption doesn't mean roxas padded his educational attainment.

[emoji23]

His people made it appear in his various bios all these years thst he was a Wharton grad holder. As I said, its a perception thing. Wily.

At any rate, since candidates' qualifications are on the table the article presented a good summary of the candidates academic background, with GP and Mar having the least accomplishments (ie undergrads). Interesting info.

    From rappler

"On his official website for his 2016 presidential campaign, it says “[Roxas] graduated from… the Wharton School of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania in 1979.”

According to a check by Rappler, “Manuel Araneta Roxas II” graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, under the “Wharton Undergraduate” division.

I doesn't appear to me they knowingly misled the public that roxas earn an MBA degree

A big contrast to Ralph recto.

Yan Ang misleading the people. Sinabi talaga na meron siya MBA, eh wala naman pala.

I have read the article, and the author has already added his own interpretation of the data.

But looking at it objectively, Roxas didn't claim anything false. He really did graduate from Wharton.

The author said that saying that you're Wharton grad implies that you are a Wharton MBA holder, which is clearly a personal assumption, and not a very good one at that. To claim that most Filipinos think that Wharton graduate = Wharton MBA reflects that he clearly has no idea what the masses think. The mere fact that he graduated from an Ivy League university is impressive enough.

Of course, being from an immensely wealthy clan, getting in Wharton was an easier feat than if Duterte or Binay had done it, but it does not discount that fact that he intellectually qualified for the slot.

Ha bakit??? That's a concept term I learn when reading EQ (emotional quotient) : surface acting.

"There are two specific types of emotional labor, and they are called deep acting and surface acting. Deep acting is about a person trying to feel a specific emotion that they are thinking about in their mind. For example, before his wife left him, Harry used to think about her and their plans while working. This would put Harry in a happy mood, and he would respond to customers' issues with enthusiasm and politeness.

Surface acting, however, is when a person has to fake emotion to meet certain social or work rules. For example, the Monday after Harry's wife left him, he was very upset. His supervisor had no clue that Harry was in personal turmoil since he still provided upbeat and positive customer service to all of his airline customers."
