^ Speaking of Yasay.
Epic!"And if you're especially tired, disappointed and frustrated and angry, and under the circumstances, we must give a leeway on the part of the president for this kind of reaction. Like us, he is also human."
Nevertheless, Yasay said the final word rested with Duterte.
"I will assure you the president is very responsible in making statements. He will not make statements unless he means them," he said.![]()
Gullable DDSupporters: If it is on the internet/social media, it must be true...
Wow!
Thank you so much po FATHER GOD... Please protect him always po and his family..
^ It must be a gag. Nobody's that gullible....right?
Just heard on the news that MMDA chair Emerson Carlos has resigned, to be replaced by Thomas Orbos.
More goodness from today:
Recto asked if the PNP has enough equipment, and suggested Bato submit his requirements to the budget committee.
Pointed out what those of us who are not total tards already know: This hearing, if conducted properly, will let people know what the police are really doing. Ergo: if the people believe the police are investigating riding in tandem killings, then they won't be as scared.
-
Also... I do believe Bato is just too honest. He admitted that the number of killings on record has gone up by almost 200 cases. Still not clear whether this is all homicides, or just those considered vigilante killings.
So much for Cayetano's "20 a day" pronouncement. Alan is working from incomplete data and is simply doing propaganda to downplay the issues.
To think, I actually respected him before this election. (He and Leni were the only two I was okay with winning the VP seat).
When the flip-flopping Yasay is your damage control, that means that things are very damaged indeed.![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Millennials are the backbone of our economy, gen x and oldies people dont spend anymore and hence, dont contribute to consumer spending to our gdp,
We need consumer speeding to post growth so that we will invite more investors here.
Millennials are already disillusiioned to the people older them mainly because they are truly the information generation. Tapos mangangaral mgs gen x na they know what's right.
If we dont save the Millennials, we will lose them to drugs snd other vices, instead of responsible contributing citizens to our society, lalo pa tayo mag-sink in.
This is how I respect my Pres Du30. Even if he is already 70 years, he knows this, Please see the man as who he is, cunning but with a heart. Ni hindi nyo napansin sa photos nya, naka-Apple watch sya, sa mgs kilala nyo matatanda, who even wears that?
He sees out of the box and sees the big picture of thingd unlike people here , who post point for point daily kung anu mali o tama. These are all irrelevant mumblings,
Think of your future gen x. You think may cars na kayo ngaun, may bahay, may savings ok na kayo? We are connected you and I. So stop thus thinking na you can just criticize everybody just because you are safe now.
That's why my heart goes to the Millennials. Even if they have misguided thinking like for example, glorify Marcos snd Martial Law. Who really cares? That's the past. Nothing we can ever do to change that.
To think that that will happen again is just statistics or probability. It's not sure science, kaya kayo mga dilaw ang mga paintelihente, analyze your thoughts and your brains, baka yun ang problema. You are trying to impose your beliefs on other people like you have the final say.
The world doesnt work that way. What you have accomplished or learned or achieve do not count at all, so stop imposing on us free thinkers and millennials. I am not even a millennial but I feel for them

Heard on the news that Mayor Espinosa met with Albuera PNP chief Espenido yesterday for five hours. He declined to mention any details of the meeting, confidential daw.
Good thing i took a second look. 20-day status quo order lang pala while they restart oral arguments

SC halts preparations for Marcos’ burial at Libingan

The Supreme Court has temporary stopped the preparations for the hero’s burial for late dictator Ferdinand Marcos.
In its en banc session on Tuesday, the high court issued a 20-day status quo ante (SQA) order and rescheduled the oral argument on August 31.
BACKSTORY: Martial law victims run to SC to stop Marcos burial at Libingan
An SQA refers to the previous or the last uncontested state before the current state.
Five petitions have been filed in a bid to stop Marcos’ burial set for September 18.
Petitioners argued that Marcos’ burial at the Libingan ng mga Bayani violates the Constitution and several laws.

They said Marcos cannot be considered a hero taking into consideration the number of human rights violations committed during the Martial Law era.
The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG), meantime, arguing on behalf of respondents, pointed out that President Rodrigo Duterte’s order for Marcos’ burial at the Libingan is in keeping with laws.
“Marcos was, in life, a President, Commander-in-Chief, retired military veteran and Medal of Valor awardee, and thus, may be interred at the Libingan,” Solicitor General Jose Calida said.
Calida said that the move “does not confer upon [Marcos] the status of a ‘hero'” and is “not tantamount to a consecration of his mortal remains or his image.”
“No amount of heartfelt eulogy, gun salutes, holy anointment, and elaborate procession and rituals can transmogrify the dark pages of history during Martial Law… The world has read and heard all of these,” the OSG said. IDL

One of the 24 candidates of the Marcos political party, the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan or KBL.
The unfortunate Salvador Panelo | Inquirer Opinion
With people like Panelo on your side, you'd be stressed out too.![]()
However, by being honest and cooperative, you gain more public trust as against trying to force and skew facts via perceived propaganda. If one is level headed, a good number (unfortunately, not all) will be level headed too.
Tagal na niyan napag-uusapan. Afaik matutuloy yan. Bagsak benta ko snack foods dahil mahigpit DOH sa mga schools dito. hehe
But good overall naman yan para sa mga Filipino imho. Sin-tax like din yan.
Kainis nga, may pa ad hominen hominen pa, hindi naman marunong rebuttal? Akala ko pa naman facts bashena dito. tsk
^ Expect snack food makers to load their products with vitamins to get around the "junk food" tax ^_^
