I am also one of the people who put Duterte on their top list but for the past few days, the more he opens his mouth each time he gets in an interview or giving speech, the more I am starting to not like him. In fact I wouldn't even put him at the bottom of my list, I already removed him from my list.

Bad mouthing the pope did it for me even if he said that it was meant as a joke and not really meant for the pope but for the traffic and organizers. If you don't respect the pope the way Catholics do since he is not the leader of your church or even if you don't have a religion at all, at least give him respect for being a head of state. Millions of Pinoys went crazy each time the pope moved and if something happened to him in our country, the whole world would know. The pope didn't arrive in such a short notice, he was all over the news, so they should have planned their routes carefully and not got stuck in traffic and eventually led him peeing in his car.

How could he control a country if he couldn't even control his mouth and emotions. If he can get away with that in Davao, not to the whole country. Being candid and straightforward are good traits but sometimes, he should know the boundary and limitation especially if he is in public. I also curse but when I go to the mall after getting stuck in traffic, queuing in the parking, lining up at the cashier and when it's my turn to pay I wouldn't say, "p***** i** puro nalang pila. T*** I** ang traffic." at the cashier.

I despise Binay to the bone and I would not vote for him, not in this lifetime, even in the next, but between him in Duterte, sadly I would. It's a relief that there are other candidates to choose from.

The challenge now is to keep his momentum (or if he still has) until election day.

Sabi ng supporters nya he will make the necessary changes daw for the Philippines to be free from corruption. How can he do this, how can he change the people if he himself is not willing to change? Tapos he has the nerve to say he can change the whole country e siya nga corrupt sa spirit.

I can just imagine the Philippines under digong becoming a pariah state because no one wants to talk to the Philippine president. Every asean and apec summit andun lang siya sa gilid walang kausap and people leaving the room everytime he takes the podium. Civility is a requirement for leadership.

Being a statesman indeed goes a long way. I think this is one area na at least okay si PNoy, he is very diplomatic with China even with the issue at Kalayaan Islands. But he is firm regarding the rule of law/UNCLOS.

Saying he'll make the necessary changes is one thing but actually doing it is another.

Ayaw ko na sa mga ganyan politicians puro pangako and gusto ko sabihin mo exactly how you'll do it.

Don't tell me walang mga sariling interest mga yun.

Meron na ba nagtanong Sa kanya about corruption issue ni binay? Playing safe ba Ang sagot?

Archbishop Cruz tells Duterte: File complaint on ***ual abuse claims

    Thursday, December 03, 2015 12:10PM

    File a complaint.

This was the reaction of Archbishop Emeritus Oscar Cruz on claims by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte that a priest ***ually abused him when he was young.

In a report aired on News To Go on Thursday, GMA News' Raffy Tima quoted Cruz as saying that while he understands Duterte's manner of speaking, for which the presidential aspirant has drawn flak, the mayor's "serious" claim against clergymen is another matter altogether, and that Duterte should file a case against the abusers.

"I think he should not just let go of this like that. Kung talagang reformer siya, he should follow through. Hindi 'yung sasabihing, ''Wag na, kawawa naman sila.' Oh, come on, walang ganiyanan," he said.

Earlier, Cruz scored Duterte for his profanity-laced declaration speech last Monday, saying "Delikado ang mga ganitong nilalang."

Duterte came under fire among netizens for his comments about being stuck in traffic during last January's Papal Visit, when it took him five hours to travel to the airport because of road closures.

The head of the CBCP, Archbishop Socrates Villegas, also criticized Duterte.

On Duterte's penchant for expletives and the audience's reaction, Villegas said: "Vulgarity is corruption. When we find vulgarity funny, we have really become beastly and barbaric as a people. When a revered and loved and admired man like Pope Francis is cursed by a political candidate and the audience laugh, I can only bow my head and grieve in great shame. My countrymen has gone to the dregs."

In response to the CBCP chief's rebuke, Duterte then claimed that he and fellow students at the Ateneo de Davao were once abused by priests.

"[Kami] sa Ateneo noon and I will tell you the abuses committed against the minors at that time including me and I will tell you my story. Kaming lahat dumaan kami," said Duterte in Tina Panganiban-Perez's report on "24 Oras" last Dec. 1.

The television report said Ateneo de Davao University has yet to comment on the matter.

For his part, Cruz, the judicial vicar of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines' (CBCP) National Tribunal of Appeals, said he is currently handling more than 10 cases regarding abuse allegations against priests.

He admitted that given that the alleged incident happened many years ago, he is unsure if the church can still investigate on the matter.

He added, however, that Duterte should go ahead and give details to back up his claim.

Cruz said Pope Francis has created a special tribunal which will look into negligence of bishops in ***ual abuse cases.

"'Yung mga obispo na hindi kumikilos kapag may pari sila a may maling ginagawa [ang dinidinig dito]. So ang target, hindi lang 'yung mga paring gumagawa ng mali, kundi 'yung mga obispo na walang giagawang tama," he said.

He added that anyone who has been abused by a priest should complain before his or her respective diocese. — Rose-An Jessica Dioquino/RSJ, GMA News

I guess regardless kung sino ang iboto, at manalo, change should start within each and everyone. Sa tigas ng ulo natin mga pinoy. Paminsan kelangan natin ng matigas na leader. Im not saying kung sino ang alin among the candidates. But just something to consider.

Also. Sa mga mahihirap - please don't treat this as discriminatory. Huwag i-asa sa presidente ang kinabukasan. Madaming nagpapadala jan e.
