I meant the catcalling issue sir, not the catcaller per se ^_^ Had he said sorry right there and then, all would most likely be forgiven and we could move on to national issues
The problem with Juterte is his majn experience in executive work is as a city mayor. Yes its a big city but compared to Metro Manila or even Cebu its still quite small. Its easy to lead 10 people than a hundred. Sa Davao kaya niyang takutin ang City Council to do what he wants, he can tell jourmalists to print wht he wants, broadcast what he wants... or else. Yung mga ayaw sumunod sa council, hayaan niya mabulok ang distrito, yung mga journalist na sige banat sa kanya, well andyan ang DDS, sabitan na lang ng sign na pusher pagkatapos. He served a term as a congressman, but admitted he spent most of his term watching movies since he had no patience with debates and committees. So right now he still acts like a small town mayor bullying everyone who doesn't toe the line. I doubt it will change even after his term ends. Kaya ayaw niya umalis sa Davao kasi comfort zone niya, andun ang mga toadies at fawns.
methinks there is a difference between micro-managing davao city, and being the statesman called for by the presidency.
i am hoping the incoming president can come up with an effective blend of both.
i have high expectations for his plans with LTO & LTFRB.. DPWH.. customs..

“I was saying, you idiots, do not threaten me. I said I’m ready to lose the presidency, my honor or my life. Just do not f*ck with me.”
We'll be stuck 6 more years waking up to this kind of colorful quotes in the morning...
Inquirer printed that f-bomb on thei front page...and they did not use any asterisks.
if duterte thinks he's having a bad day w/ the press now, he'd have an exponential rise in blood pressure once he officially takes the helm of the country and his policies are put under a microscope and then scrutinized painstakingly
have you guys seen the "third warning" print ad at philstar of THE atty oliver lozano (at least it looks like his because it's his name that's conspicuously displayed there)? the old man is a certified wacko. ewan ko ba kung bakit nasa payroll pa ito ng mga marcos![]()

If Filipinos didn't find anything wrong sa mga stunts ni duts then this freaking nation is going to the dogs.
I was able to caught some part of his nightly presser and I give credit to the rappler reporter for standing her ground.
"The world doesn't revolved around you" something to that effect and sinabi niya Kay psycho.

Rappler reporter Pia Ranada Robles: Sir, we have this ordinance nga, the Women Development Code. In the ordinance, it states that catcalling, whistling – sorry, let me just read it, part of it: “Cursing, whistling, or calling a woman in public with words having dirty connotations or implications” is actually ***ual harassment, so it seems as if you, uh—
President-elect Rodrigo Duterte: (whistles)
Audience: (few people laugh)
Duterte: You know, you don’t have any business stopping me. That is a freedom of expression.
Pia: Sir, your own law says that there is a limit to expression.
Duterte: If you go overboard and you start to harass the woman.
Pia: Sir, the definition in the ordinance is “whistling,” so that’s already—
Duterte: Well, if you go, you cajole with the woman (whistles). “Miss, uh…” As a matter of fact, when I first saw you, I said… (whistles)
Audience: (silence)
Duterte: Go to another question. You cannot stop anybody from whistling.
Pia: Okay, Sir.
Duterte: But I would say, who gave you the right to presume that I was whistling because I saw you? You have to be in a room, kaisa ka lang, a man and you, and he would whistle (whistles).
Pia: So, Sir, you’re saying you were not whistling at Mariz during the time she asked her question?
Duterte: Of course not. That is, ano, objective, or is it subjective? Subjective?
Pia: No, Sir, because she was asking.
Duterte: You are guessing.
Pia: No, no, no, Sir. I’m not guessing. Because she was asking a question, and the question was directed at you, and your reply to her was a whistle. So unless you clarified that you were talking to someone else–
Duterte: I was exasperated by the question. Whistling is not a ***ual thing (whistles again, then mumbles)…Wala nang hinto kundi magtanong.
Pia: Sir, for you it might not be ***ual, but to others it might. So the world does not revolve around your definition.

Obvious that Du30 was making palusot to the rappler reporter. Derechohang pagsisinungaling. Walang hiya-hiya. Huli na nga with his pants down, lumulusot pa si lolo. Not the first time I've seen him do this.
Obvious din napipikon na siya nung di kinakagat ng rappler reporter ang mga palusot at pagsisinungaling niya. So what did he do? He bullied his way into making the reporter shut up. He used his tremendous power as president-elect to shut her down. Kulang na lang sampalin niya yung reporter.
Preview yan kung ano pwede gawin ng bully na ito sa mga di niya makakasundo. That's why martial law may be a reality sooner than later with this bully cum psycho leading the country.
Yup, time to have that expired passport renewed.![]()
