    I also did...

Kahit na pumila ako ng pagkahaba-haba, inabot ng siyam-siyam kakahanap ng precint, kahit butil-butil na ang pawis ko, makaboto lang ako...

My solution? Clean the slate and start over.

I'm exactly the same. im now beginning to realize that Marcos' regime has done us more good rather than this so called "democratic" type of government.

so more is that a typical Juan's life has become a sort of a "cycle".

cycle 1: Election Period - candidtes running for position guggle around with different parties, "balimbingan", siraan at patayan. kahit magkakamaganak nagaaway dahil sa politica.
    - after election, lossing candidates would cry "cheated".

cycle 2: Post Election - jacking for seats and kiss and makeup.

cycle3 : Bangayan Period - expect them to dig each others "stinks" while Juan are just over hearings, waiting for our dear senators to approve the budget for his son's eduaction.

cycle 4 : Pre-election - after 3 short years, here they go again. umpisa ng siraan at balimbingan, then proceed to Cylce 1 again.

these has been our lives for the past years/ decade. some of us see the Green Pasture out of our own struggles, and at the cost of other nations. while Juan is still sweating out inside his barong-barong, while his junior is vending chicharon on the streets.

so i dont see that "obligation" for our Motherland and to me, nobody's the "right" person, unless we change our political system.

    that's me anyway.
