Moments later, they caught up on Aquino at the restaurant where the President was meeting with his friends.
Aquino will hold office at his Times Street residence for at least a month pending the renovation of Bahay Pangarap inside the Presidential Security Group Compound in Malacaņang.
Security was tight on Times Street when it was visited by an ABS-CBN News crew before dawn Thursday.
Two police mobile security units were installed at both ends of the street. Bomb squad personnel with bomb-sniffing dogs frequently made rounds around the street.
ABS-CBN News also learned that Aquino did not use the presidential vehicle on Wednesday night.
Security people detailed on Times Street said the vehicle was parked in Malacaņang. With reports from Jeck Batallones and Alex Santos, ABS-CBN News
