Cerge Remonde found unconscious
(Updated 11:52 a.m.) Press Secretary Cerge Remonde was found unconscious on Tuesday, a Malacaņang official said.
"He was found unconscious in his office bathroom," deputy presidential spokesperson Gary Olivar said in an interview on dzBB. Other radio reports, however, said Remonde was found unconscious in the bathroom of his Bel-Air Village home in Makati City.
According to a report on government-run NBN-4, Remonde was rushed to Makati Medical Center's emergency room.
Olivar said he has yet to find out Remonde's condition.
"As soon as I get information, I will give a press briefing," he said, adding that he was on his way to the Palace in Manila.
As of posting time, a report on ANC quoted Bubut Velasco, head executive assistant of the Office of the Press Secretary, as saying that Remonde was being revived at Makati Medical Center.

January 19th, 2010 02:33 PM #4Cerge is a good friend of mine from way back during my stint as a Disc Jockey here in our province.
We dabbled together about KBP Affairs as he was the station manager for an FM Station in Cebu City in the early 90's. Last time he was in town we huddled very briefly for some updates in the craft that we loved which was broadcasting.
He is a fellow Cebuano hence the awkward accent he speaks in during interviews. I always envied his job which he said was hectic but fun.
I still can't believe it.
