Based on your annual income and your other income/s,- may nagbabayad ba rito ng tamang bayad para sa kanilang Community Tax Certificate? (P1 for every P1000 income up to a max of P5K in CTC)
Double taxation?...

ang double taxation is the VAT and income tax.
dapat VAT or income tax.
Local officials are opposed to its scrapping.
Syempre, dahil mawawalan ng pondo.
That's always the bottom line.
...don't tell us that it's hard to impose new taxes. City governments do it all the time with new ordinances requiring this and that permits popping up like mushrooms.

VAT and Sales Tax
Sales Tax and Income Tax
Sales Tax and Business Registration Tax
Tsaka yan...... Residence Certificate Tax and Income Tax

Kawawang manila at walang pagpipilian. Isang binangkarote ang siyudad, isa naman binangkarote SSS at convicted plunderer of the nation.
No income lagi kunin niyo Sa cedula...hehehe

A century after Bonifacio, hated ?cedula? still here | Inquirer Opinion
Commissioner Kim Henares of the Bureau of Internal Revenue said the cedula, or residential certificate, serves no useful purpose except to squeeze more money out of citizens for the benefit of local government units that issue them and collect the fees
