    sadly a lot of the mayors in this country (especially those outside of manila) feel they are the end all and be all of their constituency. they treat their locals as fiefs whose lives they can toy with and rule how they see fit absolutely

    "Centralized distribution?" Kahit dito sa Laguna, where we have disasters every other year, private entities are allowed to distribute the goods themselves. We have to coordinate with the local government, but we are not forced to hand over the goods. Anong akala niya? The mayor has no right to claim or confiscate charitable goods that are given in a private transaction.

    sa habagat relief goods yata yun? yung gov official na nag-repack ng relief goods sa plastic bags na may nakaprint na mukha nya.

    lahat ng mga taga-bohol, dun kayo pumunta sa bahay ni mayor evasco, katok kayo sa pinto. mukhang kaya nya kayo lahat bigyan ng relief goods at di na nya kailangan red cross.
