Only an idiot would believe that inapi si Negro sa UPLB. It's an open forum that he accepted to be questioned no holds bar. The answers to the questions thrown to him is the what makes it important in the discussion not dahil binara cya sa isang tanong na huling nagpapalusot cya, inapi na. The fact is, Negro measured by trying to fool the educated, that is if he can fool them, he has a greater chance. He learned his lesson from there, his only good to fool the dumb poor. And the dumb poor comprise the majority thus he will just focus on the D & E otherwise, he and his family heads up in jail come 2016.

Jojo Binay wants ban on corruption cases before polls | Inquirer News

Vice President Jejomar Binay on Monday said he would push for a moratorium on the filing of corruption cases at least a year before the elections so these could not be used for harassment.

In his speech before members of the National Unity Party (NUP) in its convention at Sofitel on Monday, Binay said candidates usually faced corruption charges ahead of elections.

He said corruption complaints before the Ombudsman were prematurely elevated to the Sandiganbayan so that the official could be placed under preventive suspension ahead of the elections.

Binay vows ‘People Power’ if cheated

United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) standard-bearer Vice President Jejomar C. Binay yesterday said he won’t take a defeat in the May, 2016, elections sitting down if it happens via cheating.

Binay vowed in front of Manila Bulletin editors during a round-table interview yesterday that he would lead a “People Power” should such scenario play out next year.

“Magra-rally po ako. Wala pong ka-ipokrituhan (I will stage a rally. No hypocrite here),” said the 72-year-old Binay, whose ambition to be Chief Executive has been an open secret for the better part of a decade.

“Last card ko na ito (This is my last card),” he said.

“Mag-aalsa ako. Batang rally tayo. Magle-lead ako ng People Power. (I will lead an uprising. I’m used to rallies. I will lead a People Power). If I lose because of cheating, you can expect me in the streets,” Binay later said in a one-on-one interview.

“I hope they will remember it as a message for those who want to cheat in the coming elections.”

Binay heads the opposition, which come election season is usually viewed as being at a disadvantage resource-wise against candidates of the administration – in this case, the Liberal Party (LP).

BIGGEST WORRY

As such, he admitted that his biggest worry over the presidential elections is fraud.

“Knock on wood, sana walang dayaan. Dapat marangal na halalan. Naglipanang magkakadayaan sa PCOS (Hopefully there is no cheating. There should be an honorable election. There are rumors that there will be cheating via Precinct Count Optical Scanning machines),” Binay said.

The UNA chairman also expressed apprehension that government funds might be used to bolster the campaign of administration candidates.

He said the Commission on Elections (Comelec) must strictly enforce its spending cap on poll bets during their campaign. “Comelec should be strict on overspending.”

Asked to give a magnitude of the rally that he would be leading in case of a fraudulent defeat, Binay noted that he was the chief mobilizer for demonstrators during the time of former president Corazon “Cory” Aquino.

“I know how to call for rallies. I remember President Cory, kapag may rally noon pagkatapos ng snap election, laging may special order. Tawagan niyo si Jojo. Yan ang nakaka-itindi sa rallies (there were always rallies after the snap election. She ordered for his people to call Jojo. That man understands rallies),” he recalled.

Cory Aquino is the mother of incumbent President Aquino, chairman of LP. She was swept to power in 1986 because of the EDSA People Power Revolution.
