I like the fact that he actually does something while he's in the office.

But I don't like the seemingly "try-anything-just-do-something" approach they use at the MMDA. How would you feel if they said: "Hey, let's try a 25% flat income tax for one year... and if that doesn't work, let's do something else!"

It's this kind of slap-dash approach to traffic management that causes so many accidents every time the MMDA changes schemes. It's reckless and irresponsible. yes, I'm happy they're doing something, but I just wish they'd think about it before actually doing it.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

personally, i like his style. disciplinarian, kamay na bakal, hindi natatakot in implementing programs no matter how unpopular they are.

i like what he did in marikina. its such a clean city. walang kalat sa kalye. even the tambays have to wear something when they are outside, bawal ang nakahubad.

but unfortunately, its not yet his time.

it doesn't follow that if your a good local official, eh magiging magalin ka rin sa national.... case in point...the estradas....maganda rin naman ang san juan, in fact mas maganda pa sa marikina....so magaling bang national officials sina erap and jinggoy...

how about lito lapid or bong revilla??? magagaling silang local officials pero bano sa national...

in short hinde pa siya pwede or hinde talaga siya pwede to be the next president....

Exactly. A national leader must have, among others, the proven ability to think problems through and come up with carefully crafted solutions. I have not seen this in the way the MMDA has gone about their so-called traffic management activities.

sana nga manalo sila, nasubukan na nating magkaroon ng presidenteng sobrang talino, sobrang bobo and in between pero wala rin nangyari. these guys have proven that they got what it takes to make the changes so why not give them a chance?

we dont need a disciplinarian. we need a visionary. or else we are just a disciplined nation going nowhere. it is like a straight line of people, lining up for nothing.

Medyo confident pa nga sya kc kilala daw sya ng madaming tao including the masa......hehe kilala sya ng masa as being the No.1 demolisher of street vendors

Personally, I'd like him to win coz he seems to have the will to implement changes, but i think wala syang chance esp sa provinces
In my own POV, this person have the capabilities to become a good leader. I'm going to vote him if ever he will run for president. I can see a lot of changes if ever he wins.

visionarian is ok but he or she won't succeed if there's no discipline. tingnan mo ang singapore, Lee Kuan Yew led Singapore to independence and served as its first prime minister and was regularly re-elected from 1959 until he stepped down in 1990. at ang sekreto ng success ay kamay na bakal ika nga. disciplna ang pina iral nya doon kaya umasenso bansa nila.

I'll choose Marikina any time of the year.

huh!? IMHO Dapat we should focus on this core value sa ating mga kabataan.
Pag may disiplina, everything else will follow
