Madali kasi tingnan ang mundo ng Pinoy politics sa "us vs them" narrative, yellow vs red, left vs right. Mahirap kasi yung may nuance, yung maisip ba na pwede siguro may mali sa rhetoric at propaganda ng mga nakikita sa news at social media.

Ang dali paniwalaan na napaka ayos ng lipunan natin nung panahon ni Apo, na sinira daw ng EDSA 1. Natatawa ako palagi kapag nadidinig ko itong mga kapitbahay ko na palagi sinasabi na mas maunlad na sana ang Pinas kung hindi ipinatapon ng mga dilawan si Marcos. Eto kasi ang nagagawa ng "manufactured consent" ng state controlled media noon panahon ni Apo. Wala itong pinagkaiba ngayon sa mga fake news sa social media, actually baka mas malala pa nga ngayon.

Iyan naman talaga ang hangarin niya, pabanguhin ulit yung apelyido and give his mother a chance to return to Malacanang for one last time before she exits this life. Throughout the campaign puro unity lang ang pinagsasabi niya, without any concrete plans unlike VP which laid out her vision for the people pero too many people were simply suckered by the Marcos propaganda machine. Kung susundin yung logic ni Imee na tumakbo para i-vindicate yung family name, aba'y di na ako magtataka kung isa sa mga Ejercito or both ang tumakbo sa 2028.
