dick gordon and BF would be a good tandem. both have the will to politically gut it out when push comes to shove and both are also proven in the field of governance, albeit technically only in the local level.
i've lived in davao city for the better part of the exciting 90's and it has been observed over there that duterte easily gets bored when dealing in the national level. remember, he was voted into congress back then but inexpicably virtually gave up his post, preferring instead to "retire" in his home city and run again (successfully) for mayor the next election season came about. the reason for his abrupt LOA in congress, pundits said, was because he felt he was made semi-inutile when his influence over DC's day-to-day affairs diminished greatly.
