Bawal nga daw naka pantalon sa babae, dapat daw long skirt or paldang lampas tulod.

Dito kadalasan hindi pa nga naka-state ang rules in black and white, and yet we do what's "right".

The guidelines are not unreasonable anyway.

Hindi na dapat kailangan ng dress code. It should already be taught in-family, kumbaga if it's Sunday attire they know what to wear. I mean the dress code reminder is just there because there are still those who don't follow it.

dress code...just like in other religions (non- catholic) na dapat dress for girls?
i dont' think na dapat may ganun pa... for as long as decent clothes would do.
no sleeveless/spaghetti strap top & plunging/mid-rib or hanging tops, no miniskirt/shorts for girls.
for guys no shorts or sando.

siguro tama nga si mbeige...it should be taught in the family.

fyi..yun ibang katolik church may mga reminders talaga na ganun.. and they would really talk to the person if he/she isn't wearing the appropriate clothes

Kaya lang mukhang nawawala na yung sense of what is proper and improper. Kung halos lahat ng bagay parang casual na lang and nothing seems to deserve serious attention, obligasyon pa nga ng Church leaders na mag-announce ng dress code. Importante din naman ang Diyos, di ba?
Sa akin, basta nothing ostentatious or pretentious. Worship is not a fashion event. Those who focus on garments (instead of the One who got stripped of them) totally miss the point of going to Church. Just dress as your best regular decent self, and let the kids learn by your example.
