    47. where mountains like Makiling and Banahaw are considered as holy places
Dehins lang sa 'Pinas. Sa Tibet at sa Japan, ganito din: Shinto followeres believe that Mt. Fuji is a holy and sacred place.

    45. where the school is considered the second home and the mall considered
    as third.
Sad, but true. Especially for the younger-set.

    41. where people speak all kinds of languages, and still call it Tagalog.
Not necessarily true for us Pinoys. In fact, I've met a lof of people in the South who don't like speaking Tagalog. For foreigners, yes: any Philippine dialect, it's Tagalog.

[quote]33. where colonial mentality is dishonestly denied![/quote

    Da***d right!

    31. where people can pay to defy the law.
'Been to several places/countries that are worse.

    24. where crossing the street involves running for your dear life.
True. We're like India: being a pedestrian is like having a walking death sentence.

    9. where the fighter planes of the 1940's are used for military engagements,
and the new fighter planes are displayed in museums
We don't have any new fighter plans, even on display. The most modern fighter plan that we have (currently in storage due to lack of parts), is the Northrop F-5E. The other. While we do have military jety plans that are still operable, these are mostly trainers and not suited for areal combat/defense. We even have F-8E Crusdaers (Vietnam war era), but are not functional because Vought (the makers of the plane) folded-up decades ago, so no parts are available anymore.

    2. where being an hour late is still considered as punctual.
    Sad, but true.

As for the soaps, I'm neither a kapuso or kapamilya so I reall don't give much though to it.
