To quote a part of the article.

    Take these critics for example:

    1. Organizations like Bayan Muna simply do not recognize good deeds unless they smack of 1950’s anti-capitalist rhetoric and total destruction of wealth-building mechanisms. They sharpshoot at every opportunity and they are loud out of proportion to their authority.

    2. The mayor of Tacloban. My son would call him a “Whimpy Doodle”. If you listen to that mayor, he is accountable for exactly nothing that went wrong in his city during and after Typhoon Yolanda.

    3. And the newspapers, which intoxicate themselves by thinking that shallow sensationalism is a profound finding and any slander is worth printing.

    4. And the plunderers and crooks who are intent upon making the accuser the guilty party. They are another bunch that knows no accountability. Nor shame.

eh ano yun? he is leaning on these extremists to the point that he is at their side in terms of the interests of the country?
aside from the thing he said na bubuwagin ang congreso and papalitan ng parliamentary which he things is within the power of the president under the current constitution? unless he plans to also dissolve the consitution which makes him a dictator already?

    turn off tuloy ako.
No, he doesn't have the power to abolish Congress. And that's probably the surefire way to get him kicked out of office, if he hasn't already been ousted by a military coup due to his fanboi sympathies with the reds and the MILF.

For those who don't know, whoever is elected President has to take this oath: "I, [name], do solemnly swear [or affirm] that I will faithfully and conscientiously fulfill my duties as President of the Philippines, preserve and defend its Constitution, execute its laws, do justice to every man, and consecrate myself to the service of the Nation. So help me God."

From what Duterte is saying right now is that he cannot comply with such an oath. Dunno about you guys who support him, but that makes him unfit for the Presidency, plain and simple.

Anybody been getting the text surveys asking if Duterte should run for President? I got it at least thrice and in all instances responded "NO".

    Ako "YES" ang sagot.

He will definitely be bounded by the Constitution, which a President should defend.

But he is warning everyone to get their acts together and all are aligned with their mandate, or face possible consequences within the bounds of the law.

Maayos lang ang Executive side of the government (1/3 of our system),- which is the implementation of our law,- with a little bit of a "favorable stretch" for the people,- the person in my book will be a good President.

Hindi ba't iyan ang gusto nating lahat???

Again,- if you are a law-abiding citizen,- then there should be nothing to fear. If you are a shady character in life and business,- then get your acts straight or face the law.

Sabi ko nga earlier,- sinubukan na natin ang iba't ibang tao,- housewife; militar; maka-masa; economist; daang "matuwid", but still we made little progress... IMO, it is high time for us to elect someone, who has proven in his little turf, how an executive should run his territory and support him in his bigger challenge of running our country.

And I do not know this Duterte. I am just a vote in several millions out there.

Tingin ko nga much worse kapag si Binay vs. Erap. Kasi for sure alam na ni Erap na matatanggal uli siya kapag nagloko pa big time e. hehe

Hay Grace Poe, takbo ka na lang.

Grace Poe is the only presidentiable I see that has the vote of the masses as well.

I'm a realist when it comes to voting for our president. In 2010 I believed a lot in Gibo but I knew there was no chance he'd win. I don't regret voting for Noynoy. Every vote for Gibo was essentially a vote against Noynoy. If Erap didn't run, Villar would've won by a huge margin.

Even if Duterte runs in 2016 he will surely lose against Binay. Only Grace Poe stands a chance. But this time I don't think Grace Poe is just a second-best option. I really think she has her heart in the right place and is tough enough to be president.

If she run for president and win, i also think she would not dare tarnish her family's name and her father's image. yes, i also believe her heart and mindset is still unadulterated by too much politics, corruption and compromises. Exactly the opposite of nognog.

Perceived heavy baggages of Grace Poe,- ERAP and his familIES (bespren nila iyan), Ipeng Salvador, Rez Cortez, Amay Bisaya and others... E, mga buwitre ang mga iyan na naghihintay lang sa tabi ng kalye....

If Duterte will not get the necessary critical mass,- I might vote for Grace Poe, but with a heavy heart....

Wala na bang puwedeng may tsansang manalo na may matinong intention para sa bansa at walang heavy baggages???

hehe, lahat may problema ano. Like the last election, lesser evil na naman. Wala bang election na the better candidate pag-uusapan na potential manalo.

Chiz would be okay I guess, wala lang pera eh.

Unfortunately, even with Heart in tow, Chiz won't make it against Binay.

As a VP to Grace Poe, pwede pa siguro.
