Maybe you were referring to regear final drive ratio which is located in your differentials?
Regearing trannys will be more complex and confusing. While changing final drive will be easier, it will bring your speedometer closer to reality. Ofcourse, this will all depend on what gear you have on your current ride. Changing to higher numerical gears will give you more power at low speeds but limits your top speed on your tranny's top gear.
when i go to 33" tires, i will retain the final gear of the pajero which is a low (numerically high) 5.29
yung sa F150 ko before, when i went to 33 inch tires, it seemed very affectd because of its high gearing of 3.55

On diesel Pajeros, you have to start regearing when you reach 35" tall tires. 33's are still okay.

thank you sir ungas for the clarification, yes i was referring to the final gear ratio.my bad.
otep,
2in body n 2 in sus lift ba yung paj sa pic? 33in ba yung tires nun? mukhang ok pa ha.... ayaw ko lang may gap sa bumper n the headlight, how do u fix that?
yup, both the front and rear bumpers need to be raised/aligned. tingnan mo yung bullbar nya, natatakpan na ang headlight.
i guess some form of bumper brackets would do the trick?
andy
madali lang gawin yan. si wiretap remember ganyan din ang bumper niya at first, then na align kina freeman.
The Pajero in the photo sports 33" tires with a 2" suspension and 2" body lift.
The bumpers have been realigned after the lift and the tires were replaced with 34" Simex JT2's.
Currently, that Pajero is undergoing a solid axle swap.
