A good way of telling if youre pushing your car's aerodynamic limits is by freewheeling at speed. Pag nag neutral ka sa highway and very rapid yung deceleration, then youve obviously gone past your 'efficient speed'.

Wala kasi tayong wind tunnel eh! So guesstimate na lang tayo.

WOmbat:: Yup, I agree with you, Seems like 80kph is the best for our rides :D

As with most cars, optimal speed is around 80 kph to get the highest FC.

But I'm not sure ha, try niyo.

It depends on the car. Sakin ang basis ko at 2k rpm is the most effient regardless the car speed. Pero some cars when u hit 2k ang speed ay more than 80kph & some below 80 naman for gen 11 altis and gen2 vios respectively.

Sa Innova d4d, tingin ko bet 70-80. Sa patag, up to 16kpl pag ganyan ang bilis

    With the Vios:

    80 kph - 22 km/L
    90 kph - 18 km/L
    100 kph - 17 km/L
    120 kph - 15 km/L
    140 kph - 12 km/L

That's if you maintain constant speed. Since highway driving is always a mix of difference speeds, my average highway FC is about 14-16 km/L.

Ayon sa aming Ford Escape manual:

You consume 15% more fuel if running at 100 kph compared to 80 kph.

I tried maintaining speed at 80 kph 90% of the time and got 15kmpl. I try ko sunod ang 90kph kung may significant change. Same route
