I'm thinking of trading in my 2006 Fortuner (gas) for a 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer model. No cash involved.

Assuming that the Expe is in good condition, would this be a good deal for me?

Practically everyone has one.

It's an upgrade. Go for it! (since the fuel consumption probably won't be a problem for you, since you've considered an Exped) Mas comfy ang Exped.

well for me it is an upgrade but consider also that the expe is a 3 year old car and your fort is a year old car, and if you actually want to swap, make sure that the expe is not a marked vehicle i mean maya eh baka may banta cya or anything o kaya naman nabanga dati before basta make sure lang na pagswap eh malinis ung sasakyan na ipapalit mo dahil yung auto mo eh im sure sariwang sariwa pa un ;) also consider parts and accesories in the long run 3 year old car usually after the 4th or 5th year lalabas na mga sira?

uhmm Ford Expedition dream machine in town.

    Yes. Good to have Expedition.
for me Expedition is best Large SUV in town even if it is large displacement engine V8 but has more more power. Expedition has good performance going uphill. Its enjoyable to drive even have'nt driven it. To dream it to drive a Expedition.

    Everyone here has Fortuner...

****Nabibitin daw**** i saw an fortuner going up to parking bldg talagang nabibitin ang hatak pa akyat. I saw it in MOA.

if i'll go with the exped , better make sure that it's in very good condition. if not sure, i'll stick with my fortuner which i believe you got brand new.

If I have an Expedition. Why would I trade it with Fortuner? Baka may problems na?

Kung wala talagang problems or kaso yung Expedition, I'll go for it!

Pero may sense yung sabi ni Uwak18. Better be careful when deciding.

Pero kung medyo alanganin talaga, just stick with your Fortuner. Or if you don't want it na, just sell it and get a new car.

All we know since the first production of Expedition and release on our local market. The Expedition is almost in our roads. Now the time of Fortuner to be one best selling suv in the market. Almost a years of producing the expedition is also best selling suv on the market for last years. Today is getting more satifying customer to reserve on Fortuner. Also same with Expedition for the last years.

We all Filipino loves any kind of ride. Right? Even it is large engibne displacement. Filipino's like to dream and the time comes our dream comes true..in our life.

why you are not satisfy with your Fortuner??? you like to trade your fortuner to expedition..

The ride quality of the Expedition is definetely leagues over the Fortuner's trucky ride.

For me, the Expedition is still young. It's only 3 years old. I've only had a brand new car once and it was a lower-end Kia. Now I almost always prefer getting a used but more upmarket vehicle. I'm currently alternating between a 5 year old and a 30 year old vehicle.

If you really like the Expedition, go ahead. You've been a Tsikoteer long enough to know its issues like fuel consumtion and higher cost of repair when something breaks (regular maintenance is not that expensive). Just take a look at your priorities and your intended usage for the vehicle.

consider the mileage of the expe also, ok pa yan kung di lalayo sa mileage ng fortuner mo, size does matter, mas may dating ang expe sa fortuner (looks) imho.

If both are in good condition then thats an upgrade... but consider also your useage as if it's an everyday car that you plan to keep for a long time then you might be better off with the Fortuner. But if it's a weekend family car then the Expe is a good choice.

panalo lahat ang expe, talo lang sa resale (if big deal ito sayo), estimate ko 260k per year depreciation ng exped

Pero kung wala ka naman balak ibenta ang Expe in the near future, you won't have to worry about the depreciation.
