if i were to choose...and those above mentioned are the choices ill pick rav 4

but if medjo marami po kayo and fuel economy wise (diesel) ok po ang everest maganda rin naman po ang ride nito

for me its a toss up between:

the xtrail: nice ride, peppy engine, i like the view from the driver's side parang ang luwag due to the central intrument cluster.. i think the 2.0 4x4 is adequate for daily use

and

the mazda tribute: v6, sunroof, the price... i dont know kung tatanggapin ito sa ford service..

The Everest can go where the rest of the SUVs you've listed can't. It's the only one with ladder-on-frame chassis and low gears. Best of all it's a diesel.

Cons, least pogi points and harsh ride (I think because of the rear leaf spring suspension and solid axel).

I wish I have one.

pros- excellent loading capacity, due to rear leaf springs.
imho pros ang solid axle in my book


about sa harsh ride, madali lang remedyuhan yan,
1. aftermarket shocks
2. invert one leaf.
3. 1 sack of sand

di naman masyadong matagtag ang everest...parang typical pick up....pero mas refined pag loaded cgurado hindi na matagtag...

kung kelangan mo eh yung matipid pero maluwang- ford everest..

kung kelangan mo eh yung pang-porma at walang kinalaman ang space - Rav4 (awd)

kung kelangan mo eh yung pang-porma, medyo maluwag nang konti, with extra ooomph sa engine department eh toss up yan between xtrail v6, ford escape v6 at mazda tribute v6...

ngayon kung ang kelangan mo eh di gaso na medyo matipid sa gas kumpara sa mga V6 engines at with an adequate space for the passenger ika nga eh value for your money eh mag Honda CRV realtime 4X4 ka na lang...although medyo bland na yung design nya both interior and exterior compared to the competition (except for the everest) in my opinion lang po ito mga peeps...nakita ko na kasi lahat yang mga choices mo...

now kung ako ang bibili ngayon...

kung diesel - everest (walang iba sa mga choices mo eh)

kung gas - nissan xtrail... lamang ito pagdating sa 4wd system, nagagandahan ako sa interior fit-outs nya, sa exterior naman ay okey din although mas gusto ko ang Rav4 nang konti....

Everest sana ang choice ko. Pero after hearing the horror stories of the Ranger's clutch (which the Everest uses as well), medyo turn off na ko.
