    Wala naman major. Lumuluwag lang ang bearing while the engine gets old kaya umiingay. The silent shaft acts as counter weight to cancel the effects of vibration and noise. What i can suggest is check your belt baka tumalon ng ngipin thus rendering the shafts ineffective.

    Palagay ko ay sira na ang bearing dahil na-timing na ulit namin yung belt B. Pero ganoon pa rin. kailangan na sigurong bunutin at palitan ng bearing.

    Ok,

    Be sure marunong ang gagawa. May kailangan na special tool to pull out the bearing (malalim around 1/2 deep inside the block). Sa walco they sell the friction bearing at 250 per set. I suggest you do it before ka mag change oil.

    kung properly adjusted na ang valve clearance niya, at may gano'n pa rin ang tunog, hard-starting ba? If in case na hard starting siya, baka may pundido kang glow plug, kasi pag hard starting tapos may tumunog na gano'n masyado malakas ang explosion sa silindro naiipon kasi ang diesel na 'di nasusunog kapag pundido ang glow plug..

    Diesel will not ignite in any other form but mist injected to air under high compression and temperature. Even the glow plug cant ignite it without air and high pressure at a precise moment in the compression stage. Usually measured by degrees before top dead center

    Nag-test ako, tinanggal ko ang timing belt B at pinaandar ko ang engine, nawala ang tak tak sound. Nagpalit kami ng bearing ng silent shaft pero naroon pa rin pagkatapos. Nextjob ay tatanggalin ko ang belt ng water pump pero nakakalagay ang timing belt B, baka sa water pump nanggagaling kasi nung nag test ako ay walang nakalagay na mga belt kundi timing belt A lang. Pinagtatanggal ko lahat ng belt, yung lang timing belt A ang natira.

    Have you tried running the engine na bukas ang Cylinder head cover? Try to chech the rocker arm shaft for looseness. May limang bearing cap check kung magalaw and then torque it accordingly.
    The last 4d56 that i did, na loose thread ayon lumuwag at hindi matiming timing.

    Thanks for your help. Palagay ko ay na trace ko na ang problema. Tinanggal ko yung wire na nakakabit sa fuel pump tapos sinubukan kong i-crank start continuously ang makina without fuel injection. Nawala ang "tak tak tak" sound, walang ingay sa makina, fuel knock siguro. Ipaka-calibrate ko yung fuel pump muna at titingnan ko ang resulta.
