I'll go with the Ford Ranger (117bhp / 280Nm torque).
Someone here has reported that they have alrady logged more than 160K km on their company's Ranger. The usual wear & tear but nothing too serious. Our company also is using Rangers (XL) and I haven't heard of any major repairs done.
The D-Max would have been a better choice if YOU are the one driving (130hp / 279Nm torque).
I wouldn't even consider the Hi-Lux... as it is a weakling in this category (102hp / 200 Nm torque). Plus there were reports that the CRDi system of some Innovas have already failed (and required the replacement of the whole system).

Makina ko to eh... and i'm very happy with it (although iwan ako ng Hilux at Dmax sa highway). I also asked Doc Diesel before about what diesel engine manufacturers he found to be "better", Nissan and Isuzu was his reply then.
