WWW.BIGBALLS.COM.AU has a diff gear set for patrol gq/gu. there are 2 models to choose from 4.6 for tyres 33-35 and 4.8 for tyres 35-38. if i were to use 4.8 and my tyres are 315/75 x16 on 16x8 magwheels, will my hi-speed will be relatively slower? or should i use the 4.6 so my hi-speeed will not suffer? pls advse guys : )

December 21st, 2003 06:47 PM #4Weight and aerodynamics are also factors which can affect both top speed and accelerations. You regear to maintain drivability. But keep in mind that a taller truck has worse aerodaynamics than stock and that bigger tires weigh more than the stock ones.
