yung arb lockers, para hindi gumana ang differential ng sasakyan. that is used during offroad. lalo na pag nakaangat yung isang gulong sa isang side, may power pa rin na tutulak sa kabilang side. (magulo ba? hehehe :D )

in other word, when you have a locker, your wheels will always spin at the same time, the safari came with lockers only at the back, that's why we're in awe, because the beast now has front n rear. unstoppable na talaga sa offroad.

kelangan pa ba ng center diff. lock pag may front and rear diff. locks ka na?
how about lsd?asko ko lang din, pag ung mod na 4.88 gear, anu effect nun sa hatak/takbo ng safari?

for part-time 4wd (like in the patrol), walang center diff. sa full-time 4wd lang may center diff. pag nilock yung center diff, torque is split 50/50 to the front/rear axles, exactly like in the part-time 4wd na naka engage yung 4wd.
4.11 yung stock final drive ng patrol, so moving up to 4.88 would result in faster acceleration but lower top speed (rpm would be higher for a given speed compared to the stock 4.11 ratio)
not neccessarily lower top speed because ungas changed to bigger tires this will compensate for the difference. pwede nang mag 35" tires!

Fuel consumption is expected to go up a bit with all the weight he is adding up on his rig. But Ungas can easily afford that. hehehe.
