This is what I did to my paj based on the observations I did sa mga BMW sound insulation panels:

first layer - Wurth sound deadening panels (lightweight bitumin) self adhesive ito so easy to install in the door panels, ceiling, floor, and firewall. This bitumin-like material will take care of vibrations and road noise.

second layer - Wurth sound insulation foam (black lightweight foam) that is also self adhesive. This will sort of serve as an effective sound barrier for outside noises

Evostick insulation for the firewall. approx 200 pesos per roll. You will need around 3 rolls for this.

If you can afford it, go for wurth.

Worth it kaya ang Wurth? hehe...kidding aside, may nabibili sa Handyman (forgot ko lang ang name) isang roll mga 800 to 900 php, parang carpet pero may form and self adhesive. yun ang ginamit ko sa flooring ng gen1 pajero before putting the carpet.

Yan ba yung kulay silver parang yung pang lagay sa roofing ng mga bahay.. yan din nakita ko sa ace hardware sa SM mega.. pero sa ibang ace wala ako makita... yan nga naisip ko lagay sa Gen1 sa flooring parang yung kay sheep...900 lang ba per roll.. kala ko per meter yong 900

Gamit namin sa Ford ay yung insulation sa kisame ng bahay. Yung white foam with silver foil on one side.

Madami nun sa True Value sa Shangri La. Pero indoor use lang ata siya. Hindi pwede sa mga lugar na mababasa or high moisture.

yung white foam and foil thingy, iba-iba thickness, you can buy it by the yard ata for about P75, medyo makapal na yun, but parang heat insulation lang not so much sound insulation.

Ang gamit ng mga tiga-Kotse Audio Club dati ay yung "Flashband". Para siyang sinlaki ng duct tape pero parang aspalto siya. I think ginagamit ito sa bubong ng bahay. :D

Hmmm. Interesting. But in a Pajero, most of the exterior sound goes through the glass. ANyway, im mildly interested. Feedback na lang guys on where and how much
