    Caltex Gurus,

    Kanina po ng bumili ako ng brake fluid sa isang Caltex station sinabi po nila na may bago daw pong diesel oil ang Caltex starting May 1. Papalitan na din daw ang pangalan ng Delo 500. Totoo po ba ito mga sirs o hoax lang?

    ano pinagkaiba ng vortex silver sa vortex gold?

    masmahal ung gold diba? pero same octane rating pa ren..

    ayos lang ba paiba=iba ng brand ng unleaded..

    kung saan saan na kasi ako nagpapagas eh.. bilis maubos..

    pero i'm trying to stick with the silver..

    caltex silver: 93 ron
    caltex gold: 95 ron

    as regards changing unleaded brands, pakiramdaman mo na lang yung car mo, dats wat i do :lol: dati kac, nag-experiment ako regarding the different brands kac pangit yung idle speed ng car pagka start.nung nakahanap ako ng fuel na napatino yung idle speed, i sticked with such brand :D

    95 ba ung gold?!!

    or ung sa shell na uleaded at premium ang parehas na 93..?

    i remember na 95 ang label ng gold kac. yung shell super unleaded naman at yung shell premium, pareho sila na 93 ron. their only diff is dat yung premium may LRA or lead replacement additive, para sa mga lumang auto

    The octane rating of Vortex Silver is 93 RON and that of Vortex Gold is 95 RON. Lahat po ng gasoline natin sa Pilipinas ay unleaded na thanks to the Clean Air Act. Walang effect kung pag-haluhaluin mo different brands and different octane ratings basta gasoline ito. The minimum required octane rating for most gas engines is 87 kaya way above ang current lowest gas octane rating. :D

    roydok, baka delo 400 yung sinasabi nila...sorry late reply na ako....ngayon ko lang nakita nung nag-search ako...

    Ok po ito kung introduce ng Caltex ang Delo 400. Magkano po kaya price per liter sir chieffy? :D

    Compare caltex vs petron unleaded based on which runs better in your car.

    Don't recommend getting from just any station, there are differences in pump calibration, water intrusion in old tanks and some even mix cheaper, generic fuels. Stick to 1 or 2 stations with known quality.

    roydok, available pa lang siya sa pail (20 liters) pero and pagkaka alam ko eh may balak din ang CPInc. maglabas ng per gallon(sana pati liter)...sa ngayon wala pa kaming dalang Delo 400(pati Energy Synthetic)...inaayos ko pa inventory namin eh :wink:
