I had mine registered just today. Everything went smoothly. My Strada passed the emissions test. Medyo mahigpit sila in the sense di ka papayagang i-register vehicle mo if you fail the test. I interviewed some of the staff. Madami-dami din ang bumabagsak specially those Kawasaki 2-stroke motorcycles, jeepneys, and some old trucks. May nakasabay ako kaninang 3-month old Revo 1.8 liter gas EFI na bumagsak. Gulat nga kami. Isosoli daw ng may-ari sa casa. May bumagsak ding isang Corolla '96 Gli. Suggest ko make sure properly tuned engines ninyo. Goodluck. :D

January 14th, 2003 10:31 PM #5yung sister-in-law ko last week nagpa-rehistro. car is a 2000 nissan exalta. bagong tune-up sa casa 5 days before she went to LTO. ang resulta, BAGSAK!! nagtataka nga kami kung bakit. so she went to a nearby shop to have it fixed para hindi na siya pabalik-balik. sabi dun sa shop eh masyado daw mataas yung ewan ko yung term and hindi daw nila kaya at baka lalo masira auto. so in short binalik na lang sa casa and after that she went to LTO. ang resulta, PASADO na.

Ah baka exempted nga pala sila... private vehicles only...

question lang po.. in case you fail the emission testing, will they charge you again after you get your car repaired and return it to them for a re-test?
