I've heard from the grapevine that this SAFE SUV from Greatwall Motors of China will be sold here in the Philippines... with an SRP of around $11,000 or Php616,000 (Php56 x $11,000).. anybody heard about this..

September 21st, 2004 03:57 AM #17the guy whom i've talked to said that it will cost nga around $11,000 or Php 616,000 all in na (taxes and duties included).. considering na luma na yung model ng engine na ilalagay but still, its a toyota. ang warranty yata ay 18 months or 30,000 kms w/c ever comes first. IMO, better have this than the ones from subic.

September 22nd, 2004 05:03 PM #19i've heard about this when i was in central america... they sell great walls there... the company gets the "old" body molds from Toyota thats why you'll notice the exterior looks exactly like the old models from Toyota.
the only downside i heard is that it has a NOT so powerful engine.

1) 491QE - 2.2 gasoline,
power = 74.5kw/4200-4600rpm,
torque = 185Nm/3200rpm
2) 491Q - 2.2 gasoline,
power = 68kw/4600rpm,
torque = 177Nm/3200rpm
3) 4D28(4JB1) - 2.8 diesel,
power = 57kw/3600rpm,
torque = 174Nm/2200rpm
