Very cramped interior space. As Otep said, no tailgate but I think you have a small door at the back that you can fit in small items underneath the rear seats. There is no tailgate because the top is detachable and you make into a J-Top vehicle. I think it uses the Mazda R2 2.2L diesel engines which are not so reliable according to some mechanics (something about the clinder heads). I'm not so sure about the availability of spare parts other than engine parts from Mazda.

I did consider getting one before but the small interior space wasn't something you'd probably want unless you normally drive alone.

Here are some specs I got from their chat group at msn.com:

ENGINE 1,789cc petrol four inline, with 85ps at 5,000rpm and 13.7kg-m at 3,000rpm (This is a mazda F8 unit)
    or 2,184cc diesel four-cylinder, with 70ps at 4,050rpm and 14.5kg-m at 2,000rpm (This is a mazda R2 unit)

    TRANSMISSION Five-speed manual
Selectable four-wheel drive Freewheeling front hubs.

SUSPENSION Live front and rear axles; leaf springs all round; anti-roll bar on the front axle. Early cars had a 9 leaf set up and later cars had a lotus 4 leaf set up.

STEERING Unassisted on left hand drive models (uk) and power assisted on right hand drive models

    TYRES P215/75r15 P235/75/15 LT215/75/15 lt 235/75/15

BRAKES Ventilated front discs and rear drums with power assistance as standard

    DIMENSIONS
    Wheelbase 83.9in (2,132mm)
    Length 138.4in (3,515mm)
    Height 71.7in (1,820mm) (unladen)
    Width 66.5in (1,688mm)
    Ground Clearance 8.1 in (205mm)
    Weight Petrol models 3,6811b (1,670kg)
    Diesel models 3,7481b (1,700kg)

The engine is the same as the one on my 2.2 Besta and those Besta ambulances. Ok naman, it gets the job done pero ang ingay. hehehe.

    Ok sigurong trail rig iyan.

    tebats,

Mas cool kasi kung yung daily driver din ang off-roader. Kapag masyado nang hardcore ang machine mo parang nakakatamad na mag-off road, eh. Nawawala ang challenge.

Ok yung sasakyan na pwede mong gamitin for a fancy date tapos pwede mo isabak sa off-road.

Parang yung Pajero. Daming hindi naniniwala na pinang-ooffroad ko. Pero pag nakita nila ang pic, bilib sila talaga. Lalo na mga chicks. *wink* *wink*

    nice one otep! hehehe:wink:

    kaw talaga puro chicks...

di naman gagawing sobrang hardcore e. modified lang ng konti, pero, magagamit pa rin pang-everyday.

at least, pag may nasira. di kasing sakit pag yung daily driver.

Kung trailing ang type mo and on road....why not get a brandnew Suzuki samurai or a 2nd hand vitara (the vitara is better in pogi points!!!).....Kung low budget ka naman you can try a 2nd hand samurai or a 2nd daihatsu ferroza.

All of these are proven trail and on-road worthy vechicles ..... The samurai looks simple on stock but if you put in A/T or M/T simex tires na 8.5 to 10" width biglang guwapo ang porms nun.

...tapos dagdagan mo pa ng rollbars sa loob, snorkel, ARB/TJM bumbers, winch, engine upgrade..... and the list goes on.....eh siguro naman super pogi na :lol::lol:

    wildthing,

Medyo masakit sa likod yung Samurai at Feroza. Hehehe.
