sino may alam kung saan magaling mag recap ng tires? I'm planning on recapping my swampers with A/T tread instead of wasting new swampers on the highway.

    magkano kaya aabutin?
    how long gawa?
any info would be really helpful. thanks

Try Bandag. Kaya lang alam ko limited and tread designs nito walang All Terrain grooves.

kung highway lang... i guess ok lang iyon. Of course, if you want to go off-road, you have to switch wheels muna.

di siguro advisable sayo ang re-treads/recaps
nag-o-offroad ka, baka matanggal bigla yung tread.

problem siguro is the tire size, they might not have the right equipment to handle your tire carcass.

Kasya naman siguro sa OD ng tires, they could re-cap tires upto 22 inch rims for trucks. Ang problem yung width panigurado kakapusin sa 12.5" thickness. Most trucks only have 10.0" tire width.

nylon belted. as for off roading on retreads, kaya naman. kaya lang natatanggal yung sa mga busses kasi weight and speed. Ilong tons ang bus travelling 110 km/h. samantalang sa car ko 2 thou lang at the most per tire. top speed ko 90 lang naman. sa tibay, ok retread for my car. bumibigay lang talaga sa busses. I talked to a jeepney driver, la pa naman daw cya kilala natatanggalan ng tread. problema nga lang talaga siguro size.
