    Hi Guys!

I just inherited an FJ40 , its quite worn out but I'm trying to restore it first and hopefully upgrade it to do some off-roading. I'm trying to find out where can I find parts like gauges, signal lights etc. Does anyone here know where to look for those parts? ( surplus?)

    Any suggestions are welcome !

    Thanks !

Sa Banawe you can go to WAS and Kanzen.

Or you can always go to Pampanga. Dami LC gurus dun dahil off-road territory. Check out Olive Drab and Kimpoy's Cruisers.

May catalog ka? Yung owner's manual napa-xerox niyo na?

Ang ganda ng dash sa pic ha. Nakakabili pa ba ng ganyan? Mas ok siya kaysa sa converted.

    Hi Otep and Kimpoy,

Thanks for the info. Yes I'm starting also on the body, pero inuna ko na ang PS para mas magaan dalhin, d pa kc PS ng na punta sa akin. The suspension I guess needs a little upgrade also since it is somewhat tilting ( parang loaded ang likod ). I'm trying to restore the interior and exterior to stock, then next maybe the suspension. Dami pa kc kulang na mga bits and pieces na mga parts( like guages, signal ligth etc).

    Kimpoy,

Ganda ng dash, available ba yan d2? It's true this model is very basic kahit kunti lang alam mo sa cars/trucks ( like me )ay madaling maintindihan.

Thanks again guys and hopefully I could learn more here.

di ba PS na ang fj40 "pawis steering"

but i suggest that once you modify your suspension start with shackle reversal in the front.

Word of warning to shackle reversals, unless you intend to race it i suggest you keep it in its currewnt form, it may result to the vehicle "Wandering" on a straight line route with roads that are short of flat surfaced. This is because it will affect the caster setting of the vehicle. (yes even with solid front axle vehicles). we have done several caster jobs already on our teams racing vehicles.
