    planning to replace 2.6L 4g54 'matic with either 4D56 or 4M40

    -are above engines readily available? where?
    -heard ICHI BAN will only sell if they do install (package deal?)
    -what are importiant things to watch out for in this project

    Engine and Transmission Support check kung shoot. Propeller Shaft, u might have to trim kung mahaba.

    Anong sasakyan ? Paj?

    sugestion lang po para walang sakit ng ulo........


    sell the gas pajero and buy a diesel version.

    para walang ng mounting problems and un expected cost.

    ....selling this and getting a diesel (auction or local) generally is more epensive BUT less headaches.....budget wise surplus enigine MAY BE the way to go

    ano ba pangit sa makina ng model na pajero na yan? i mean matakaw ba sa gas? or mahirap ang parts or mahal ba?

    oh boy..eh di close to expedition na rin yan? kase if ever baka gusto niya swap with my 3dr pajero na 4d56...medyo mas trip ko kase gas over diesel eh...

    matic kasi kaya ganyan ka takaw sa gas. Yung sakin nakaka 5 to 7 km/li. city and hi-way, manual nga lang at 3dr. Parang tama lang yung sakin for an old 2.6L gas engine.

    Tama sila babagsak ang resale value nyan at maraming pang future headaches pag nag palit ka ng diesel engine. Pero kung mahilig kang magkutingting...ang saya non!

    Si joseph nagpalit recently nang 4D56 to 4M40....kaya lang ala PK...may nakakabit na Gen2 na kaha ...he he he...teka baka secret pa yon oops :D
