    GUYS,

    ford racing thorough bred
470RWHP and 580 torque(roughly 570Hp*the crank).serious engine and truck for the ford truck and best of all,all the parts used are readily available thru ford racing equpment/parts so its pretty much bolt/add on with having to worry about compatibility(that is if your truck has the new 5.4L triton V8.

Ford's 425-Horsepower F-150 FX2 Sport Extreme Supercharges Truck Customizing Trends

It's a known fact that pickup truck owners are rabid when it comes personalizing their vehicles. Research has shown that more than 70 percent of new truck owners spend, on average, nearly $1,500 on aftermarket accessories in the first year of ownership. To feed the growing demand for personalized vehicles, the new F-150 FX2 Sport Extreme performance truck – a 2007 F-150 FX2 Sport with performance, appearance and in-vehicle entertainment and telematics modifications – take this fragmentation to a new extreme by allowing customers to build trucks to their own specifications with dealer-installed Ford parts and accessories.

"The most important part about this Ford F-150 FX2 Sport Extreme is that any enthusiast could build it with parts from the Ford Racing and Genuine Ford Accessories catalogs," says Jamie Allison, Ford Racing Performance Group manager.

Ford already offers America's best-selling truck with the widest, most diverse lineup that includes more than one million factory-built F-150 variations such as the Harley-Davidson, FX4 Off Road, FX2 Sport and King Ranch models. Ford also offers a host of Genuine Ford Accessories and Ford Racing performance parts specifically designed to help truckers further personalize the appeal and boost the performance of their trucks.

The F-150 FX2 Sport Extreme started life as a 2007 F-150 SuperCab FX2 Sport, featuring a dark grille, unique headlamp treatments, monochromatic paint, unique wheels, a sporty, deep front valance and sport captains chairs with a flow-through center console and floor-mounted shifter.

"The new 2007 F-150 FX2 Sport is another example of how Ford is expanding its truck leadership by listening to our customers and delivering bold, American products, " says Christine Feull, director of Ford Vehicle Personalization. "This factory truck builds on the F-150 FX4's success by offering customized appearance and performance in a more affordable two-wheel-drive model."

The new 2007 F-150 FX2 Sport began sale in September 2006 and resulted from the Ford Truck marketing team's collaboration with its southwest dealer advisory board shortly after the all-new F-150 launched in 2003. The dealers commented that customers wanted the FX4 off-road model's aggressive looks in a more affordable two-wheel-drive package because they didn't necessarily need four-wheel-drive capability in warmer climates.

    Boosted then lowered
Power is a key attribute of all Ford Trucks and the project FX2 Sport is all about enhancing power and performance. The truck's 5.4-liter V-8 has received the treatment courtesy of Ford Racing. A Ford Racing Performance Parts , screw-type supercharger with a premium, polished housing rests between the chrome valve covers. A pair of ceramic-coated headers feed Ford Racing Performance Parts side exhausts with Ford Racing embossed tips.

"We estimate that the engine modifications boost horsepower by well over 425hp at the rear wheels and torque to well over 500-ft.-lbs," says Andy Slankard, Ford Racing engineering supervisor. "Best of all, it's been calibrated by Ford Racing engineers and is 50-state legal."

The engine feeds the stock 4-speed automatic transmission that has been recalibrated by Ford Racing engineers to handle the increased horsepower. A 4:10 rear gear and "True Trac" limited-slip differential put the power to the ground. Stopping power is courtesy of prototype Brembo six-piston brakes up front. The rear brakes are stock.

The suspension was modified with new Ground Force Drop Coil Springs and tuned Bilstein 5100 Shock Series , lowering the truck two inches in front and five inches in the rear, combined with the prototype 20x10-inch sport wheels to give the truck its aggressive stance. The wheels are wrapped in V-rated P295/45 R20 Toyo Proxes S/T™ that put the truck's extra power to the ground.

    Custom looks, convenience and comforts
Building on the 2007 F-150 FX2 Sport's street truck appearance, the F-150 FX2 Sport Extreme gets a custom stripe package for an extra personal, performance touch. Other amenities include a hard fiberglass tonneau cover for the 6.5-foot bed designed specifically for each truck. The cover can be locked to provide a secure storage area and is available in colors to match or complement the truck, or primed and ready for paint.

The Sport Liner bed liner is carpeted with a marine-style polyester surface that is bonded to foam. Molded sidewalls conform to the contours of the bed retaining features such as the two-tier loading and tie downs. The easy-to-clean surface will not stain, absorb moisture or mildew.

good day po sa inyong lahat!

just signed up. im here in chicago but i'm planning to buy a pick up as a gift for my brod this July 2007. kung ang budget ko 500T ano maganda 2nd hand pick-up recommend nyo considering mileage and maintenance. it will be used for everyday use. not much of hauling. i dont mind a 4x2.

kung kukuha ako brand new then i down payment ko yung 500T then monthly na lang ano maganda pick up? magkano kaya monthly ko? wala ba problema mag finance sa pinas kahit dito ako states ng wwork?

    thank you.
