hi, i am planning to get a new p-up, 4x4, i want to get some advice from you guys, what can you recomend a toyota, triton,or ford.. d-max engine is not a common rail yet.

Dmax is not yet common rail, pero IMO and usage experience it is one very reliable engine. The top speed of 160kph plus can be attained without modifications. Fuel efficiency is very good.
The new ford trekker seems very interesting also but I have not tried it personally.
The third option is the Toyota Hi-Lux. The hilux might have the edge in 4x4 off-road experience but the new engine is not necessarily fuel efficient (than the Dmax) and I don't know if it is plague by the the CRDI/D4D problem similar to its 2.5L engine counterpart.
