Looks like a Ssang Yong to me...
The Phoenix electric pickup truck - using new, advanced Altairnano batteries (based on research from MIT) - can:
-Travel up to 250 miles per charge
-Carry 5 passengers plus cargo at 95mph.
-Charges batteries in as little as TEN MINUTES.
-Has batteries that last 250,000 miles (never need replacement.)
More about its technology...

Damn, that's good news.
I was kind of leery about the claims for the battery technology, but if they're set to start selling, we'll soon see how these new fast-charging batteries work out. The technology might not be the great leap we've been hoping for, but it's a huge step in the right direction.
EDIT: Awww.... who am I kidding... if the charge times hold up in real world usage, that'd be spectacular!Last edited by niky; May 2nd, 2007 at 04:00 PM.

You probably need a special charger... I don't think household current can flow that fast.

considering a Ferrari has an average price range of 20-25M. multiply that with 666 units sold then...
