PEEPS!!!!
At last i got my BIG BLACK paj out of the SHop and onto the road!!!!
Here's what i owe citibank hehehe :D Medyo estimate lang itong mga to coz i lost count na sa sobrang hectic ng aking so called life....
piston rings(NPR) .......... 2000
HTK Sleeves ................. 2400
Timing belt A orig .......... 1400
Timing belt B orig ........... 900
Overhauling Gasket kit .. 4600
Clutch Disc orig ............. 6000
Oil & Coolant ................. mga 1000
Machine Shop ................ 2200
Labor ............................ 4500
ayoko nang kuwentahin ang total :D
BUT I am quite satisfied with the results! I just hope it stays together this time
RESULTS :?:
1. Quieter engine...... afrasay check it out sa 24!
2. When ignition is switched off, the engine does not die out with a heap of virbration (a sign of loose compression)
3. SMOOTH clutch action and release..... hindi pala backlash..... faulty clutch disc.
4. VISIBLY REDUCED EMISSIONS!!!!!! YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!
However, some of my electrical are somewhat shaken.
1) Antenna failed to deploy.... was fixed when i used the manual switch.
2) 4WD indicator on dash kept on flashing..... remedied when i played around with the T-case lever.... voila! :D
3) Gas gauge only showing 3/4 full, just after i had a full tank fill-up.
I tried shorting the sending unit, and all other electrical tricks as demonstrated in my Chilton and Haynes manuals.... but still no luck (read: I NEED HELP! :D )
..... sensya na medyo mahaba ha. Just sharing some (malay nyo) useful info :D
.... now if only my foglamps would arrive from the UK and my new Hood released from the paint shop...... i can finally rest and call it a day :D
PEACE! OUT! 8)

Korek si afrasay, dapat isabak na agad yan sa off-roading para sa break in period nyan, hehehe
May I ask, timing belt lang ba pinalitan mo? How about the belt tensioner and pulley? From what I heard dapat pinapalitan ng sabay tong 3 components. :D

Congratulations first on your Pajero. Regarding your gas gauge baka may problema na iyong fuel measuring device inside your fuel tank. Usually ganito nagiging problem pag di na accurate ng fuel reading like in your case. Ganyan nangyari sa Feroza namin and we had to replace the fuel measuring device. And bad trip lang nga diyan ay ibababa fuel tank mo. I hope this helps. Goodluck.

lui::: mura yan, basta hindi ka sa casa bibili :D
Jon||Alfred::: baka makalas sa gitna ng trail pag sinabak agad!
roydok::: i hope naninibago lang yung sender unit. I replaced it once already. 1400. Good thing, medyo easily accessible itong sa akin coz meron portal sa trunk which is above the fuel tank. :D

Otep::: sure! kaso medyo basic stuff lang andun. Kung sanay ka nang mag-kalas kalas ng makina, hindi mo na siguro kelangan to. However, kumpleto ito sa torque specs etc etc :D Marami rin akong napulot :D
fierari::: thanks pare! Anyway, regarding the fuel gauge sendin gunit(float), na-experience ko na before 'tong discrepancy ng fuel gauge. What i did was replace it (Php1400). Im hoping na baka sa next fillup ko ok na :D Pag hindi, malamang palit uli
