what are the current mods on Olive Drab's highhood jeep? i am interested bec. i am also planning to modify my J54 to become a capable trail vehicle.

Olive, i am from sta rita, pamp... which auto shops can you recommend to do the mods... preferably within sfdo or angeles area. do you have a winch installed on your jeep? is it the PTO type?

im happy may cousin na ang jeep ko dito. i have not done any modifications yet. im planning to install disc brakes in the near future.

my jeep does not have a winch. 4dr5 engine.
how about your J54?

my jeep also has the 4dr5 engine... we also used to have an olive drab j24 just like yours...basically they share the same engine and platform...your jeep is the military spec and mine is the civilian version... when in stock form your j24 looks better than my j54... futures mods that i am planning:
- 4-5" lift
- MT Tires 265/75R16
- Winch(surplus)

do you know competent shops within sfdo/angeles area that can do these mods? Thanks.

nababasa ko nga ang mga posts tungkol sa pinatubo adventures nyo... nakakainggit nga eh... lalo na pag nakikita ko ang pics nyo... nagta-trabaho ako sa makati kaya weekends lang ako umuuwi sa pamp... sige pag may time ako at naayos na yung jeep ko sama ako sa meets nyo... regular naman akong nagbabasa dito sa forum. Salamat.

you can bring your jeep to lahar trails even in stock condition. may kasabayan akong J54 last sunday (dec.15) sa pampanga trail, naka 6.50x15 lang na tires.

i suggest use it muna in stock condition before modifying it para mapag-isipan mo talaga. sama ka sa next off-roading, lagi naman weekends. madami kapang makakausap re modifications, makikila mo din mechanics.
