Is it ok to get 89 to 90 model pickup?

Hell.... Okay lang po ba ang 89 to 90 model pickup? Nissan eagle or L200 kasi me nakita ako yun lang kaya ng budget ko... sa tinging yu di ba ako mag kaka problem dito?

Eagle series, check for body damages. Karamihan ng nakita kong body kinakawalang sa fenders. Ok ang makina, matibay at malakas. Pero sa interior, madaling lumambot ang seat foams nito pati sidings.

L200, makina ang problema nito. Kailangan yung previous owner well maintained. Hingan mo ng service booklet para ma-check kung sinusunod yung 5K kms. change oil. Matibay naman ang body at chassis. Wag lang ipinanghila ng mabibigat na trailers.

Lahat ng old model vehicles magkakaroon ng problema sa ayaw nyo at sa gusto. MAlamang gastado na ang suspension bushings at shocks. Mausok na ang makina. Medyo pilipit na rin ang chassis kung madalas ginagamit sa pang halot ng mabibigat na bagay.

Thanks for the info...Meron akong nakita kanina 91 model na nissan ... di siya eagle 105 thousand siya... pero sabig nung nag check mga 50 t pa magagastos kung pagagawa ko body kasi medyo sira na pero engine naman ok siya what do you thinks about this? parang kanito looks nya attach picture... budget ko lang 150 thanks

parang ganyan lang siya eh ... pero mura na ba sa 105 and need body works and paiting na mga 50t ang magagastos? yung L200 naman 87 model sa tuesday ko sa makikita kasi luluwas pa ako ng manila to check it eh... and 91 model nakita ko lang doon sa seat belt... thanks again

actually may lumabas na single cab na eagle series just before the double cab came out. I think they called it the king sport. i think the eagle series came out mga 94 dito?...

poorman yan pic na yan ay us ver, ang body na yan was called the eagle series pero yung interior is updated na pareho na sa terrano.. ang interior sa pic pareho sa lumabas na power pickup series which came out 89 or 90?.. ang power pickup ang kalawangin ang body, i engine nito hindi pa ata direct injection.. sa eagle di naman kalawangin, matibay ang makina at direct injection na.. if you want low end torque wala masyado sa eagle dahil ang gearing nito mas parang kotse you cant start sa 2nd gear unlike the other pickups...

U cant start sa 2nd Gear??? Hahaha! I'm using nissan ultra eagle 1996 BD25..nasa 190thou kms na siya..i always start sa 2nd gear..at malakas pa din siya.LOL

u know wat? i had a friend also na naghahanap ng 2nd hand ride, budget would be starting at 150-180 thou.

ano kaya maganda? prefers diesel ride.

Pics can decieve so i cant tell on the actual condition.

Try to bring the car to a gas station and bring it up on a lifter to check the under (leaks, damages, suspension condition, etc).

On the chassis, check for rust, welds, filler, and misaligned panels (esp. in the hood area).

If you get the car, usual things that will need changing are all the fluids (engine, tranny, brake, PS, coolant, etc), change all the filters (fuel, air, oil) then you have to check also the brakes, clutch, engine mounts, belts, emissions (does it need calibration, etc?), tires and electricals.

If you can gauge what needs to be done, you can use it as a point to haggle the price some more (maybe he can bring the price to below 100K?).
