    i would have to agree with what AG4 said about the nexus vehicles...saw them last saturday...the hover looks exactly like the axiom (inside and out), different lang yung interior color.....iba lang yung front portion (headlights, grilles,etc)...im just so surprised to see their pickup variants....and WHOA!!!! front ng D-MAX (thinner lang yung grille), body and interior of the FUEGO (except for the redesigned meter gauges), lift up version with bigger and thicker tires....Hmmmmm ewan ko......parang its not o the filipino liking and taste....to be frank about it, chopsuey nga! i wonder what will isuzu and mitsubishi will say about this....tsaka mahal for an introductory price...i dont know but lets just wait and see kung bebenta nga....

    and i notice the isuzu engine mated in those cars are hindi pulido .. I think it is china manufactured isuzu engine

    So excess capacity ng Chinese automakers, tipong copycats kaya lang di masyadong cheap. Pag meron 300,000 kms/5 year warranty malamang maging threat.

    Oo mga licensed lahat yan lalo na yung platform,chassis at engines nila.Yung Hi Ace na Nexus na darating muna ay based sa Jinbei Haise Underservant(Hi Ace Commuter) Standard na may 2.4 liter 4G64 ng Mitsubishi:

    checked the vehicles out last thu. medyo disappointing. masyadong mahal. php1.4m. i'd rather buy a hyundai tucson....

    we went there this afternoon. bawal magpicture sa showroom. Wasnt able to take the pics of the cars there but I was able to take some pictures of the pick-ups sa AutoProminence.

    Saw the Nexus Hover upclose. Build and quality not that satisfying. Saw the Nexus All-Terrain, sobrang rip-off ng LC80. Yung Nexus N1, N2, NX1 and NX4 sobrang below par ng quality though sinasabi ng sales rep eh they will improve it when APC starts assembling these vehicles here. Basing on the aesthetics and quality, not worth it. Alam nung sales rep na taga Yehey.com ako kasi siya yung hiningan ko ng flyer ng Hover sa Rockwell.

    We also went to the Audi-APC showroom to meet the Advertising and Promotions manager. Sus grabe, she's so cold. Inantay pa nya ako magsalita, wala man lang smile. Natrauma ata sa mga media. hehehe

    The Chinese Hiace to be sold by Nexus is believe to be made by Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Co.
    In 2001, Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Co. signed a cooperative agreement with Toyota Motor Corporation. Something to offset the knock-off Nexus models?

    Would people buy these?
    They can always go for a used "authentic" Isuzu D-max or Toyota Hiace, it would probably cost almost the same anyway.

    PS: how much are those horrible looking pickups?

    uy carlo, muntik na kami punta dyan mga officemates ko kanina mga 1pm, nabasa kasi namin sa dyaryo kaya na-perk interest ng mga boys ... kaso ang init init sa starbucks magallanes na lang kami napunta. sorry OT :-) ...

    so di pala recommended Nexus ng Tsikot?

    para sa akin kasi i don't know, it feels weird - funny even. especially when you happened to see one of those j*nks, then own one of the real mccoy, i'm referring to the pick-up... nakaka-insulto...
