The intercooler fins acts as cooler when air go thru those fins. Parang radiator lang yan. If it is sealed correctly hindi makakapasok ang tubig sa linya nun, then safe sa water fording at walang masisira.

On the downside, remember the laws of physics. Any hot metal or steel submerged under water will produce as what machine shops call "hot spots". These spots are harder and will not function properly on certain occasions. Unless machined and removed.

I was pointing out the internal parts. I assume wala namang tagas yan so it is safe on water fording.

Alin ba ang tinatakpan? Yung turbo mismo o yung intercooler coils/fins?
