Nakapark yung Pajero ko on a slightly uphill surface overnight. Yung tubig draining from the left A-pillar down to the side of the vehicle somehow made it into the lower doorsills and under the plastic scuffguards to the interior. Results? Basang-basa yung driver's floor and the floor of the seating area behind it.

Pano kaya nakapasok yung tubig? Mukha namang ok yung seal and ang door alignment.

Now my driver's seat is out and the carpet is lifted on its side. I'm drying the interior para bukas lysol at uling naman.

yung gen1 namin ganyan din yung problema.it took me a long time to find where d leak was occuring coz ok naman yung weather strip ng driver's door. yun pala, yung rubber grommet dun sa engine firewall ay sira na. kaya yun, palibhasa medyo brittle na yung long rubber seal ng engine compartment na located just above d wiper motor, all d water dat creeps into d engine compartment ay tumutulay sa mga wire dat passes through dat hole inadequately sealed by d rubber grommet. driver's floor was always wet pag d covered yung parking. i just used d asphalt tape used by a/c shops to plug d gaps in d firewall access hole. :D

malamang galing yan basa sa may driver's windhield...(hrap explain)..sa may baba ng wiper...you need to open the hood to see it...malamang butas na yung rubber...kaya pumapasok na ang tubig... you need to use silicone for it sold in any ACE hardware store..., yan din nangyari sa car honda city namin..butas na pala rubber kaya pasok ng pasok ang tubig, kapag sa carpet ng passenger seat naman ang basa, malamang barado yung tulo ng aircon mo palabas ng car...hope i can help

dagdag ko lang, kun ndi umuulan, patangal mo carpet mo then pa spray ka ng pressurized washer sa front windshield mo , then check mo driver seat to see saan pumapasok ang tubig

I'm positive na galing sa pinto. Because pagbukas ko, the water was damming there (naipon) sabay bulwak palabas. But the seal looks tight. Nangyari na ito sa Montero pero yun kasi may wire palang naipit sa rubber.

I don't think it was a grommet because I checked the grommets and walang water trails near the corners of the windshield.

Sa susunod hindi ko na ipapark ng facing uphill muna. hehehe.

    Ungas,
