DRIVERS, be ready to part with your licenses and spend long hours
    redeeming
them once a temporary restraining order (TRO) on the Metropolitan
    Traffic
    Ticket (MTT) scheme is enforced.

That was the warning of Metro Manila Traffic Director Angelito Vergel
    de
Dios as his office prepares to go back to the old system of issuing
    traffic
    violation receipts (TVRs).

"We have no choice but to bring back the old scheme despite the
inconvenience it would cause drivers," Vergel de Dios said.

He added that they still had 860 TVR booklets to issue to erring
    motorists.

He said the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) would be
printing 1,200 more booklets to cover the 20-day duration of the TRO.

"The old scheme entails the confiscation of violators' licenses,"
    Vergel de
Dios said, adding that motorists have to line up at a designated
    redemption
    center to redeem their licenses.

    Payment in banks

Under the MTT, traffic violators pay their fines

saka dapat pag nahuli na ng 3x na major violation (swerving, overspeeding, loading and unloading on corners, violation of 30 second rule on bus and jeepney stops, etc.) suspended ang license for 1 year. tapos kahit 1 lang na safety related violation (beating the red light, counterflow, illegal drag racing, following an ambulance or fire truck or not giving way to emergency vehicles, crossing the limit line of pedestrian lanes, etc.) 2 years or more suspension ng matuto at madisiplina ang mga drivers!

para naman lumuwag ang kalsada at guminhawa ang buhay ng mga law abiding drivers na gaya ng mga tsikot members! say nyo?
