    errr pag lift blocks?

    :freak:

A plain metal rectangular block placed in between the axle housing and leaf springs. This will enable lifting properties upto an extent that your current u-bolt lengths. Basically the cheapest way to lift a leaf sprung suspension. But not the best way when it comes to flexing and cargo holding.

Shackle lifts may offer ample additional leaf sprung exntesion but the downside is cargo holding when compressed. Springs are not fully utilized when doing this kind of lifting process. It may allow you to load extra cargo with the extended lift from shackles, but be wary about the primary or the madre spring to carry all the burden load.

Isa iyan sa mga sinaunang lifting techniques. Yes, it simply means a block stuffed between the axle and leaf spring pack to lift the vehicle.

Lift blocks are applicable only to spring over axle setup. it becomes a lowering block when attached to an axle over spring setup.

Yup. Style Chicano yang paggamit ng lowering block. hehehehe. Tapos gold na wire wheels.

Ang get up, slacks na may sando at suspenders. hehehehe. Ayos!

So it means na dagdag height yung lift blocks + SOA?

Kung dadagdag ka ng leaf additional cargo load but not lift it.

Springs under axle setups have no other way but to change shackles lengths or swap original sets to longer sets to accomodate lifting properties.

Why buy surplus leaf sets? Suspension spring rates have 5-8 years span before it reaches fatigue rate.

*Get a new spring pack with more or thicker leaves.
*Add leaves into your existing leaf springs (add-a-leaf kung tawagin sa States)
*Lift blocks (not a bad option basta sa rear axle lang ilalagay)
    *Extend shackles ala kimpOy

Pwede naman yung leaf packs from trucks, you will have to customize the narrow size chassis mount to wider springs from trucks.

Canter?

if you want to add lift the rear using leafs find a high arc leaf to increase the height. adding a flat or near flat leaf will not lift it will just stiffen the ride and increase carrying capacity. but at the same tmie high arc leafs will add height so as stiffness to the ride. longer shackles will increase height but be careful not to make it too tall, this will affect pinion angle and may cause drive shaft vibration. the cheapest way to lift it is to hammer your existing leaf springs, but in the long run it will revert back to original height. a good set of leafs with lift is a good investment anyway and in o way will compromise the geometry of the suspension and other components.

What I want for our canter is to increased a height ang loading capacity..

So what could be the best solution for this...

Double tire ba yung Canter?

Lifting it might be unstable during turns lalo na may kargado. Meron namang nabibiling set ng leafs na may auxilairy springs to increase it capacity. You may want to try adding blocks over the axle.
