meron yan dun sa caltex sa erod. Mancor yung name ng shop that offers that kind of service.

    I tried it before:
    http://www.pbase.com/supierreman7/lav_ra_mon

It does a nice job of cleaning your radiator including the engine block (the thermostat was removed during the cleaning process)

Instead of having it repaired i just bought those local but quality made evercool radiators. I plan to have that Lav ramon thing done to my evercool siguro after a few yrs.

yep sa Carbon clean yung pinagawan ko. Its around 900 for the cleaning service + 2Liters of Caltex coolant (Php220 per liter) pero you can bring your own coolant din.

Someone posted at HCP sa Dallas sa Tomas Morato meron similar way of cleaning the radiator. They call it descaling and mas mura daw kaysa Lavramon

Meron nga sa GoodYear Kapitolyo in front of 3 sisters as Sir rlp1099. For Php900 parang medyo pricey siya.

Do they still charge 900 if you bring your own coolant + distilled water?

    bing,
inquire mo muna sa dallas baka mas mura :D

    ILD,
yep 900 is for the lav'ra'mon procedure only (it also includes 1 bottle of their cleaning solution)

Supierreman: Any advantages over DIY radiator flush? Thanks.

I think Lav'ra'mon is the name of the machine (or the process). Mancor and Dallas both have that machine.

wiretap_md had his Vitara undergo said procedure. He was pretty satisfied with it.

yung machine na yan ang gamit sa Dallas for their descaling process. had my car brought there late last year. if you bring ur own coolant a little less than P600 ang charge. but that was last year pa ha.

ayun mas mura nga sa dallas! napost ni whoopass sa HCP 300 lang daw sa dallas pero that was way back early 90s pa yata :D Reasonable price na yung 600 sana di pa tumaas :D

    ILD and frankdrebin,
DIY cleaning diba simple radiator flush lang? yung Lavramon procedure i think the cleaning solution does a better job in dissolving those deposits sa radiator saka malakas yung flow with that machine sa tingin ko mas nalilinis nya mabuti yung radiator pati na yung engine block.

    ILD,
Dun sa Tomas morato.. coming from E rod right turn to Tomas morato a few meters lang nasa right side yung Dallas. Meron silang sign na Caltex lube express.

papagawa mo xtrail mo or ibang oto? baka masyado malinis pa pag yung xtrail bago pa kase.

    Supierreman,
Para may reference lang ako in the future.
