for part-time 4wd (like in the patrol), walang center diff. sa full-time 4wd lang may center diff. pag nilock yung center diff, torque is split 50/50 to the front/rear axles, exactly like in the part-time 4wd na naka engage yung 4wd.
4.11 yung stock final drive ng patrol, so moving up to 4.88 would result in faster acceleration but lower top speed (rpm would be higher for a given speed compared to the stock 4.11 ratio)

not neccessarily lower top speed because ungas changed to bigger tires this will compensate for the difference. pwede nang mag 35" tires!

Fuel consumption is expected to go up a bit with all the weight he is adding up on his rig. But Ungas can easily afford that. hehehe.
