mga sir,may nabili ako elf na computer box,4hg1,bigla nalakas menor pag naka neutral,pag naka kambyo bigla na lng nakadyot,may naka pagkwento sa akin pwede daw pa convert sa manual,posible ba yon?ano po gagawin para maging manual na?thanks!!!

I don't profess to be an expert, but AFAIK for that to happen, you will have to change the injection pump to its mechanical type counterpart, most likely among other things too. Have you tried fixing the idling problem? A Bosch or Denso accredited diesel center should be helpful if your friendly neighborhood mechanic comes up empty. It might even be cheaper than converting to an inferior mechanical pump.

alam ko yung idling nyan control by computer box and meron din mga temperature sensor. hindi ko pa naencounter magconvert nyan kasi even injection pump controlled ng computer din

I have never heard of people converting a 4HG1 from electronic to mechanical, though I have heard of this being done with the 4JG2 and the 1KZ-TE. Assuming you were able to successfully convert it to mechanical pump, expect a power decrease, higher emissions and most likely louder engine noise and higher fuel consumption.

For such problems, I normally consult Central Diesel. You can first call them or chat with them on Facebook to see if they can fix the problem without doing any conversions. I highly recommend them over doing a conversion, which can be hit and miss and definitely very costly.

Any shop naman siguro na merong computer diagnostics tool. Good if there are any nearby your location. Maybe you can even bring it to an Isuzu dealership if you want.

Idling lang naman problema mo diba at wala nang iba? Gano karami ba ang tinataas kapag nakaneutral, at ano ba ang normal na idling niya?

Locally available naman ang Elf na 4HG1, so they should be able to look at it. I don't know if they would be willing to do so, though some casas do accept servicing gray market imports. It is still money after all. If they do, you may have to pay extra though. Wala namang kawalan magtanong, perhaps you can drop by and inquire.

second hand kasi yan then ilan owner na pinagdaanan nyan. Me posibilidad na luto na iba wiring nyan, problema mahirap itrace yan dapat need mo scanner pra makita error at dapat din me error reader ka.

Kelangan talaga dito yung diagnostics tool. Mahirap na mag DIY di tulad ng mga sinaunang modelo.

kung sa province ka hahanap ka ng me diagnostic tool mahirap minsan kasi hindi match sa computer box nung unit. Pag nde na mabasa talaga baka computer box na palitan mo.

Best bet talaga ang Denso or Bosch diesel center. Kung hindi naman titirik ang truck, best to give it a go.
