1st of all,only 2 japanese carmakers are 100% japs namely toyota and honda. ford co-owns mazda, GM isuzu and subaru, renault/peugeot= nissan and DCX=mitsubishi.
anyway to answer your question, toyota has the biggest lineup stateside.

i read that the corolla is the world's bestselling car too. also read that toyota outsold fold worldwide becoming no.2 after GM. also in the US, toyota outsold dodge i think in 1 month last year although it'll probably not going to happen again this year since toyota has no new product in the pipeline and DCX has the new dodge durango and dodge dakota pickup. toyota is sure giving the big 3 a headache (it sold more cars thatn any other automakers in america).

yes, there are coupe versions of the accord and camry. i don't know which is better guess it's relative to the driver since like their sedan counterparts, you won't go wrong buying these....
