Importing older 4X4 from US

Am finally going back home after 24 years. Uwian na! I have two 1989 and one 1987 Toyota 4runners 4X4, removable top (just like the older land cruisers0, 2400 cc, one turbo, two 5 speed, one automatic, newly overhauled engine and transmission, ready na sa baha and putik. Problema, I heard I can't import vehicle to the Philippines if more than 5 years old. Meron bang lusot, like, kung specialty vehicle, can be used for emergency (baha, ambulance, etc). Know anybody in customs that I can directly ask?? Salamat, can't wait to drink cold San Mig every day!

I believe pwede naman since you are a returning balikbayan. Inquire ka sa freight forwarder mo dyan sa US about the taxes and all.

ang alam ko lang is kung diplomat, pwede kunin yung oto na gamit niya from his/her country. other than that, its not allowed to import used cars to the country. BUT, this is the philippines so there are ways around it.
